I build websites using WordPress and a few admin plugins that allow me to create custom themes, site-specific plugins and custom blocks for the native block editor. Those blocks can be anything from a novel layout, to a post type archive, to an interactive component, or even a fully functional web application or an API integration. Really the sky is the limit as far as blocks go!

Typically a small business website consists of around 5-8 pages, 10-12 useful blocks from my block library, an FAQ and a blog. Backend SEO and AEO/GEO are also included in every website build. Structured data and schema(dot).org JSON-LD scripts are becoming significantly more and more important as the AI landscape grows and matures. For small businesses it can be an obscure technical cobweb to try and make sense of yourself, which is why I build structured data scripting into all relevant blocks in every build to maximize your chances of ranking well for the subject matter.

I have 16 years of experience building websites with WordPress and while I am likely not the cheapest developer you will come across, I may be one of the most knowledgeable and experience -- at least when it comes to WordPress and building for WordPress. I hold a BS in Computer Science as well as an MBA with a focus on sustainable business practices.
