Freelancer Profile

I am a Ph.D. in Chemistry at IIT Delhi, specialized in photoelectrochemistry, electrocatalysis, and semiconductor materials for renewable energy conversion. My research focuses on semiconductor photo-(electro)chemistry, defect engineering, and interfacial charge transfer, where I have developed novel strategies to control photocurrent switching (PEPS effect) and tune selectivity in solar fuel conversion. I have worked across green hydrogen production, CO₂ reduction, supercapacitors, and water treatment, combining fundamental insights with application-driven innovation. I enjoy working independently as well as collaboratively, and I have mentored MSc students in electrochemistry and device fabrication. I see myself as curious, persistent, and enthusiastic about interdisciplinary teamwork, with a long-term vision of contributing to sustainable energy solutions.
