I will make 3d models ready for slicing and 3d printing on a variety of machines

I will work with you to define, design, preview, and deliver 3D models to be sliced and printed on your machines.

I have extensive experience in aerospace design, tool design, and optimizing parts for 3D printing. I have used 3D printers to produce aircraft tools for rigging purposes, tools for alignment indication, tools for applying torque to sensitive equipment, and made consumer products. I have also taught engineering classes for two years now, and I have some good strategies for explaining concepts and helping others to understand complex designs, models, and processes.

I have access to Solidworks, NX, Fusion, and Inventor, so if you need native files too, we can discuss and ensure that I am producing the parts in the correct software to most effectively provide you what you need.

Price will include an initial meeting to discuss your needs, then a model creation and demonstration meeting to show the work in progress, finally, a deliverable file that can be loaded into slicing software (to create toolpaths per layer) and then processed into a finished part. I will also support one revision to the model before final delivery. This emphasizes that the model creation and demonstration meeting is important to share capabilities and discuss limitations.
